Davyana San Miguel (she/her) is a Brooklyn-based documentary filmmaker and multi-media artist from Maui, Hawai’i. In 2018, she graduated with a B.A. in Cinema with a focus on Experimental Filmmaking and Race and Resistance Studies.
Working as a freelance filmmaker, she is often found behind the camera or tucked away in an edit suite. Projects range from independent social justice documentary shorts to digital campaigns for non-profit organizations.
Co-founder of DSMVISUALS, a production company in collaboration with creative partner, Mehran Karimabadi. Their debut exhibition, Sex and Technology, visually encapsulates the confines of communicating intimately online.
