Davyana San Miguel (she/her) is a Brooklyn-based documentary filmmaker and multi-media artist from Maui, Hawai’i. In 2018, she graduated with a B.A. in Cinema with a focus on Experimental Filmmaking and Race and Resistance Studies.

Working as a freelance filmmaker, she is often found behind the camera or tucked away in an edit suite. Projects range from independent social justice documentary shorts to digital campaigns for non-profit organizations.

Davyana is the 2019 Leonhardt Cassullo Video Fellow at Creative Time, a 2018 NeXt Doc Fellow and has worked as a Programming and Outreach Intern for America ReFramed at American Documentary.
